FREE READ ✓ uinze dias Ught because A he's had a crush on Caio since well forever and B Felipe has a list of body image insecurities and absolutely NO idea how he's going to entertain his neighbor for two full weeksSuddenly the days ahead of him that once promised rest and relaxation not to mention some epic Netflix bingeing end up bringing a whirlwind of feelings forcing Felipe to dive head first into every unresolved issue he has had with himself but maybe just maybe he'll manage to win over Caio to. I loved this for so many reasons I shall list them1 Fat insecure protag learning to love stick up for himself But he also notices the ways he will always face people s prejudices no matter how much self love he possesses2 Protag is also gay3 In therapy just for the extra guidance How fucking refreshing Let s normalize this please4 Sweet af romance5 The characters have these little weekly rituals and celebrations like musical Wednesdays and cake Saturdays and they made me so happy and nostalgic for all the lil things I used to celebrate I should really bring back diva ThursdaysA couple notes on the translation that I was confused or curious about Brazil has opposite seasons so the setting is summer in December and there were a few references to it being winter but it wasn t consistent I can t tell if this is an arc mistake or if they think US kids are so stupid they can t figure out the southern hemisphere I honestly wouldn t be surprised The other thing is that there are A LOT of references to US pop culture and I know that US pop culture is everywhere but I m curious to know if some of the references were originally Brazilian and were edited for US audiences I dunno if they d translator publishers go that far The only other YA book I ve read in translation was a French fantasy so no references Anyway I loved this book so much
